After a strong January, February was particularly weak for my business. Despite adding four new items and running several sale campaigns, I only managed to sell one item.
In February, I noticed fewer people visiting my shop compared to January. I think one reason might be that in January, I started using Threads, a new platform in Europe. Lots of folks were excited about connecting with artists and business owners there. Threads helped bring in many of my previous sales, so it made a big difference to my shop’s success.
Many others mentioned that February tends to be a slow month for sales, and they also experienced fewer purchases. So, it’s probably not just me. However, it’s still early to make any firm conclusions. Only two and a half months have passed, so we’ll need more time to see any patterns.
Currently, my main focus is on expanding my product range. With Easter approaching, I’ve invested in new equipment to broaden the variety of items I can offer.
Additionally, I’ve found high-quality printing papers suitable for greeting cards, bookmarks, art prints, and notepads! Stay tuned for my upcoming post where I’ll share the specific papers I’m using.
