Easter is upon us, and I wanted to design some really cute greeting cards for this occasion.

After I had two pieces of art ready, it was time to find the perfect paper. I was looking for something with texture to add an extra charm to my cards.

Previously, antispecial.me shared one of her Christmas cards with me, where she used paper designed for traditional art. I asked for her opinion, and although she wasn’t satisfied with the results when using darker colours, I decided to give it a chance because a pack of 30 sheets in A5 size cost only ~4€.

One of my designs only used light, pastel-ish colours, so I made a test print, and it was simply perfect.

The colours resemble the ones I saw on my monitor, and this grained paper gave such a nice touch and look to my little rabbit!

I haven’t tested it with darker colours yet, and I think with this paper, it won’t even look as good.
